Hi Seidu,

Help make sure that your fans know when to tune in to your live broadcasts by turning on live video notifications. If they are following you, but not yet subscribed, they may miss the next time you go live – make sure that your audience knows the difference.

Follow vs subscribe

When someone is following you, but hasn't subscribed yet, they might receive notifications when you go live, but this will depend on many factors, including the number of other Pages this viewer follows, how many friends they have, how their notification preferences are set and more.

Why subscribe?

When your fans are subscribed, they will receive a notification when you go live, which allows them to quickly tune in when you begin broadcasting. Not only will this ensure that your fans don't miss when you go live, but they'll be able to engage with you more in real time.

Click the bell

In order to subscribe to receive notifications, your viewers must click the bell during your live videos. At the beginning, end and once or twice throughout your live stream, encourage your viewers to find and "click the bell" icon to subscribe to your live video posts. When a viewer is subscribed, the bell will be filled in.
